Dr. D. A. Satish

Senior Consultant Dermatologist · MBBS, MD (AIIMS), FRCP (Glasgow), International Fellow AAD

Dr. D. A. Satish took his MD in Dermatology and Venereology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 1983, under Dr L K Bhutani, Dr J S Pasricha and Dr R K Pandhi. He taught dermatology at M S Ramaiah Medical College for nine years and served twenty years as Senior Consultant and Chief of Dermatology at Sagar Hospitals. He founded the Bangalore Dermatological Society in 1992 and has led the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists as its National Vice-President. He has run his own practice in Jayanagar since 1992.

  1. MBBS, Bangalore Medical CollegeDr Satish qualifies in medicine at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University, after a course begun in 1971. The degree is awarded on 27 April 1978.
  2. MD in Dermatology and Venereology at AIIMS, New DelhiThree years of postgraduate resident training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, under Dr L K Bhutani, Dr J S Pasricha and Dr R K Pandhi. His MD thesis studies the therapeutic and immunological aspects of vitiligo.
